Naturopathic Medicine
What It Is
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary healthcare that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional, natural therapies. Instead of just treating a set of isolated symptoms, it focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of illness while supporting your body’s inherent ability to heal itself.
What It Can Do
Naturopathic medicine is highly effective for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. It is frequently used to manage:
-
Digestive issues (IBS, bloating, food sensitivities)
-
Hormonal imbalances (thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, menopause)
-
Chronic fatigue & burnout
-
Stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders
-
Cardiovascular & metabolic health (blood pressure, blood sugar support)
Treatments are highly personalized and may include clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and targeted supplementation.
Why It Helps
-
True Personalization: Your care plan is built around your unique biology, lifestyle, and goals—not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
-
Root-Cause Focus: We look beyond temporary fixes to understand why a symptom is happening, leading to long-term wellness.
-
Empowering Partnership: You are an active participant in your health journey. We take the time to listen, educate, and give you the tools to thrive.
The Naturopathic Difference: It’s not about replacing conventional medicine; it’s about expanding your options to create a proactive, complete approach to your health.

Bio
I’ve always believed that to truly care for someone, you have to understand where they come from. For me, that place is Iberia Parish. After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Biology, I moved to Seattle to attend Bastyr University, where I earned my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. While my education took me across the country, my heart remained in Louisiana.
My practice is built on the belief that health isn't just the absence of illness—it’s the presence of vitality. With a clinical background spanning sports medicine, mental health, and primary care, I have a particular passion for supporting women through the unique transitions of their health journeys. However, I do see patients of all ages and genders. My goal is to bridge the gap between complex medical information and everyday wellness, providing the Iberia Parish community and beyond with the compassionate, evidence-based naturopathic support they deserve.
When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me at home in Jeanerette with my family and my two dogs. I’m an avid reader and find my balance through the quiet focus of crocheting.
